A STATEMENT FROM LYSTRA MCCOY on fairport electric
I'd like to address recent misinformation regarding my stance on a public utility.
My opponent, Sean Delehanty, has misrepresented my position to the voters, falsely claiming that I intend to dismantle Fairport Electric. In reality, my goal is quite the opposite. I believe that every Monroe County resident should have access to a public utility similar to Fairport Electric.
I want to express my gratitude to those of you who promptly reached out to seek further information and clarification. If you have any more questions about my stance, please feel free to reach out to me at lystraforlegislature@gmail.com. Your engagement and support mean a lot.
Meet Lystra mCcoy
I am seeking election to the Monroe County Legislature because I believe in the importance of effective representation. My roots run deep in District 18, encompassing Perinton, NY, where I was born and raised. After graduating from Fairport High School in 1996, I earned a full women’s track and field scholarship to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. There, I specialized in the 100-meter hurdles and earned a degree in Kinesiology.
